Hundreds of thousands of children are used as soldiers in armed conflicts around the world. Sadly most children are kidnapped, beaten and drugged into agreement. Other young kids join through the military to run from poverty and to defend their communities. These kids human rights are hugely violated because there is no way out and they witness death and innocent people being tortured because they don't agree with the military group. Since 1998 armed conflicts involving children are in at least 36 countries. Former Child Soldiers most likely have forgotten their needs and blame their communities for has happened. It's an estimated that over the last 15 years 10,000 children have been kidnapped by the Lord's Resistance Army in northern Uganda.
Since 1998 there have been armed conflicts involving child soldiers in at least 36 countries. However, the traumatic scars left on children are just one of a vast aftermath of post war problems: refugees, food shortages and mourning for lost relatives. Former Child Soldiers may at best have their needs forgotten and at worst be blamed by their communities for what happened. It is estimated that over the last 15 years 10,000 children have been abducted by the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) in northern Uganda. Children are the ones who are easily targeted because they are easier to manipulate adults and will do work without asking questions.
